The Purple Seat cushion is a great choice for adding some extra cushion to the chair you need. Personally, I added the cushion to my office chair. They are easily set about anywhere you want to sit though. When sitting for long periods, it can get uncomfortable. Protect that tailbone with the Purple cushion. Better than memory-foam. Also beats out gel cushions in my opinion. The reason is the ability for air to pass through the grid material to cool. Upgrade your seating, chair cushion, etc. Relieve the pain from long periods of sitting.

Here I took the cover off the seat cushion, to give a better look at the grid material of the cushion. The grid material stretches and conforms, to give good comfort and cushion. Its not foam or gel padding, its a stretchy, durable material, formed into the grid pattern. The open space between the grid material allows air to pass right through.
Below is the grid material, shown in a close up. You can see how the grid promotes good airflow, as the spaces between the honeycomb structure are just air. Nothing to stop or trap air, allowing it to pass right through.
I really enjoy my Purple seat cushion, sitting on it just about every day. It is on my office chair, in my work from home office. So it gets used. Before, I would get tired of sitting in that chair. The you know what would get tired of sitting. With the Purple cushion, it is so much more comfortable.
I wrote this review in case anyone is on the fence or wanted additional information. Of course, if using my links here, I will get a small referral. I believe in transparency on this and must call it out. But I would not recommend this product if I did not think it was the best choice. These are great pillows and we love them.
